Rhonda Martin is the Executive Assistant to Ross Upshur, Director of the JCB, and Administrator to Jennifer Gibson, Director of Partnerships & Strategy.
Rhonda began working at the Centre for Bioethics in 1989 as an undergraduate student doing general office work, moving to administrative support for the Associate Director of the Centre. She began working full time for the Associate Director in 1992. After graduating from U of T with a double major in ethics in 1993, she continued to support the Associate Director and also became the full-time Receptionist. In December 2005, she became Assistant to the Director with the creation of the Joint Centre for Bioethics, a position she has held since then. Rhonda is the only original person from the Centre for Bioethics who still works at the JCB.
