Summer Student Positions
For the past several years the JCB has had an active summer student employment program whereby undergraduate students can gain experience in the field of Bioethics during the summer. Summer students compete for a select number of positions to work with faculty associated with the JCB on projects in clinical ethics, priority setting and other JCB initiatives.
Additional funding for the JCB summer student positions may be available through the Institute of Medical Science (IMS)

2010 Summer Student Employment
Summer student employment at the University of Toronto Joint Centre for Bioethics The CIHR grant, Canadian Program of Research on Ethics in a Pandemic (CanPREP) has several student opportunities available at the University of Toronto Joint Centre for Bioethics. Working with the CanPREP (www.canprep.ca) team, duties will include literature reviews, synthesis of research results and data.
Applications must be received by February 26 and should include:
- a copy of your CV/resume
- 2 letters of reference. Reference letters should be sent directly to Brenda Knowles, JCB Director, Administration & Operations via email brenda.knowles@utoronto.ca
- a letter outlining your interests in bioethics and your summer availability Interviews will be conducted in March/April, 2010.
